End of Internet Explorer Support

December 2020

Voyant will end support for Microsoft's Internet Explorer 11 across our web applications and services effective January 1, 2021.

It has become increasingly difficult to secure and enhance our applications while maintaining support for Internet Explorer.

This does not mean that our applications will immediately stop working within Internet Explorer. However, we will no longer be testing new features and updates in Internet Explorer and will no longer guarantee support for the browser.

Why are we dropping support for Internet Explorer?

First, Internet Explorer 11 is outdated technology which Microsoft is no longer improving. Microsoft have themselves announced termination of support for the browser in 2021.

Second, as technology improves, we strive to ensure our clients receive the best and most secure software experience. Internet Explorer no longer meets those requirements.

Third, we are seeing diminished usage of the browser across all markets. Globally, users have moved on to better technology.

Below are some newer and safer browsers to consider:

  • Google Chrome
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Safari
  • Microsoft Edge
